Hey there, my name is Felix, the coffee guy behind GroundNote. Like you, I've always enjoyed a good cup of coffee down the road from my place in East London, but I realised I wasn't paying enough attention to what made each sip unique.
After years of cafe-hopping across Europe, sampling coffees from various specialty roasters and independent coffee shops, I felt a strong desire to understand coffee better—specifically, what I liked and why.
These questions often popped up: What do I like in this coffee? What turns me off in a brew? Is it the processing method, the tasting notes, or perhaps the roaster?
So, I set out on a mission to document and track every speciality coffee I tried, aiming to unravel the secrets behind the perfect cup for me.
